Two-Day Career Guidance Program Held at INS & GHPSN, Bhaikaka University

The Career Guidance and Placement Committee of the Institute of Nursing Sciences (INS) and Shri G.H. Patel School of Nursing (GHPSN), Bhaikaka University, organised a two-day Career Guidance Program on 26th and 27th February 2026. A total of 140 students from Semester VII & VIII B.Sc. Nursing, Second Year M.Sc. Nursing, and Third Year DGNM actively participated.

Dr. Bhaskar Pandya, Dean, Faculty of Humanities, CHARUSAT, Changa, conducted a session on Soft Skill and Personality Development, emphasising personality enhancement and effective communication. Mr. Bhupendra Singh Rajpurohit from VS Nursing Academy, Gandhinagar, guided students on career opportunities in government and private sectors, including NORCET and other competitive examinations.

Ms. Aysushi Patel, RN and alumna of INS & GHPSN, provided detailed guidance on the NCLEX-RN examination and international nursing prospects. Dr. Suresh Velumani delivered hands-on training on Curriculum Vitae preparation and professional documentation skills.

Ms. Anjali Kumari from Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli, spoke on Professional Development and Leadership for Nursing Graduates. Experts from Kanan Academy offered insights into IELTS, TOEFL, and GRE examinations, while Dr. Krunal Dave, Global Nurse Navigator, explained study visa procedures, licensing requirements, and overseas nursing job opportunities.

The program concluded with promotional guidance by Ms. Vandana Shrimali and Dr. Swati Roy regarding advanced academic opportunities at Bhaikaka University. Participants appreciated the comprehensive career guidance and practical insights gained through the program.
