SKH teaching hospital of BU organized a blood donation camp on World Blood Donor Day

 World Blood Donor Day is observed every year on June 14 to spread awareness about access to safe blood and also to thank blood donors for their noble acts. 

A. D. Gorwala Blood Centre of Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad organized a blood donation camp at Nehru Garden, Community Hall, Anand in association with Krishna Foundation. A blood donation camp was also organized at English Medium School, Bhadran. A total of 78 blood units were collected. 

Dr. Sadhana Saraiya, In Charge of A. D. Gorwala Blood Centre said timely blood donation can save lives and help people recuperate from certain illnesses. Victims of accidents, surgery patients, or those suffering from diseases like anemia, leukemia, or kidney disease will be benefited from timely blood transfusions. As a tertiary care hospital in the region ,Shree Krishna Hospital deals with such patients and A. D. Gorwala Blood Centre provides blood to these patients on time.
