PSMC night cricket tournament

 Pramukhswami Medical College Sports & Fitness Committee organises the H. M. Patel Night Cricket Tournament at the sports ground of Bhaikaka University. A total of 24 boy's teams and 8 girl's teams from constituent institutions of Bhaikaka University registered for this tournament. 

The inaugural event of the tournament was held on 27 April 2023. Dr. Himanshu Pandya (Dean, Pramukhswami Medical College), Dr. Jitesh Desai (Medical Superintendent, Shree Krishna Hospital), Dr. Jyoti Mannari (Associate Dean, Academic), Dr. Harihara Prakash (Principal, K. M. Patel Institute of Physiotherapy), Dr. Anusha Prabhakaran (Assistant Dean, Student Support), Dr. Manisha Gohel (In-charge Faculty, Pramukhswami Medical College Sport and Fitness Committee), and other members of the Sports Committee, were present at the opening ceremony and welcomed the members of the 32 participating teams.

A friendly cricket match was played between the PSMC intern batch 2018 and the faculties of Bhaikaka University. The league, quarterfinal, semifinal, and final matches will be conducted on a scheduled basis between the registered teams.

Dr. Mehul Tandel (Member, Pramukhswami Medical College, Sports & Fitness Committee) and Faculty In-Charge of the Tournament explained that every year in the month of April–May, the committee plans the H. M. Patel Night Cricket Tournament to inculcate sporting spirit amongst the students.
