PSMC Alumni Association, BU, successfully organized a series of alumni gatherings across the US

The momentum began with a successful California Alumni Meet held from May 1st to 3rd. The dedicated organizing team of PSMC alumni residing in California – Dr. Anish Shah, Dr. Ronak Shah, Dr. Malhar Jhaveri, Dr. Anant Vyas, and Dr. Shikha Kothari – organized the event. It brought together alumni spanning generations, from the institution's earliest pioneers to its most recent graduates, fostering a strong sense of community under one roof.

 

On behalf of Bhaikaka University and as the Vice-President of the PAA, Dr. Manisha Gohel graced the event with her presence. A significant highlight of the meet was the official launch of the PAA U.S.A. chapter by Dr. Kintur Sanghavi, who also announced the dedicated individuals who will serve as the chapter's office bearers. The alumni spirit continued to flourish with the Main Alumni Reunion held on Saturday, May 3rd, in Santa Rosa. Attendees enjoyed a relaxed morning gathering and picnic at the scenic Spring Lake Park, followed by evening celebrations at the DoubleTree Hotel.

 

Following the successful California events, the alumni network's energy moved to the Midwest for a Memorable Meet in Chicago on May 9th, 2025. This engaging event, organized by Dr. Sheetal Patel, Dr. Dipesh Shah, and Dr. Amit Joshi, provided another platform for alumni to reconnect and network.

 

The PAA extends its deepest gratitude to all attending alumni and the tireless organizing committee for their dedication in making these events a grand triumph. Special thanks are also extended to Dr. Shruti Dave, Dr. Neelam Patel, Dr. Manoj Patel, Dr. Binita Parikh, Dr. Sachin Dixit, Dr. Nirali Ramani, Dr. Raj Patel, Dr. Axi Patel, and Dr. Ketul Barot for the California meet, and to Dr. Bhumi Kothari, Dr. Dhaivat Patel, and Dr. Hardik Patel (Los Angeles), Dr. Alpesh Korat (Michigan), and Dr. Tapan Parikh (Chicago) for hosting smaller alumni meets and dedicating their time to show their unwavering support for our beloved Alma Mater. The souvenir from Bhaikaka University, PAA, and the California organizers serves as a cherished memento of this special occasion.

 

Notably, the seeds for this growing international alumni network were sown earlier on December 1, 2024, at the "PAA Alumni Meet & Family Get Together - 2024" held at the prestigious Surya Palace in Vadodara. This gathering of over 300 distinguished alumni from around the world also marked a pivotal moment with the unveiling of the USA chapter of the PAA. The event was honored by the presence of Shri Atul Patel, President of Bhaikaka University; Dr. Abhay Dharamsi, Provost; Dr. Jyoti Tiwari, Registrar; Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Dean of Pramukhswami Medical College; and esteemed members of the Alumni Association.
