Pediatric Hematology Update 2025 CME Successfully Organized in collaboration with BU

The Department of Pediatrics and the Bone Marrow Transplant Centre, in collaboration with Bhaikaka University and the IAP Karamsad Branch, organized the Pediatric Hematology Update 2025 CME on 16th November 2025 at Madhubhan Resort, Anand. The event received an enthusiastic response, with nearly 100 participants from Pediatrics, Pathology, Medicine, and BMT centres across Gujarat.

The scientific sessions offered a comprehensive academic experience. The program featured insightful discussions on the clinical approach to common hematological disorders in children and neonates, followed by sessions on bleeding disorders, oncological emergencies, and advances in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The agenda was further enriched by deliberations on the role of exome sequencing in pediatric hematology. A key highlight of the event was the case-based panel discussion on pancytopenia and immunodeficiency disorders. Participants were also awarded GMC credit hours and a Certificate of Participation, adding significant value to their continued professional development.

The CME was meticulously coordinated by the Department of Pediatrics under the leadership of Dr. Purvi Patel and the BMT Centre team led by Dr. Suraj Goyanka. Dr. Ankita Agrawal did a wonderful job as the Organizing Secretary.
