NSS organizes its second annual camp in Palaj Village, Petlad Taluka.
Bhaikaka University, Karamsad, organizes a week-long Second Annual Camp for its NSS volunteers from February 25 to March 3, 2023, at Palaj Village in Petlad Taluka.
On the first day, the camp was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr. KB Kathiria, Vice Chancellor, Anand Agricultural University, Anand.
On this occasion, Dr Utpala Kharod (Provost, Bhaikaka University), Dr Harish Desai (Registrar, Bhaikaka University), Shri Shailesh Panchal (Vice-Principal, Institute of Nursing Sciences), Shri Sulabh Solanki (Vice-Principal, LP Patel Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology), Smt. Sangeetaben Parmar (Sarpanch, Palaj Village), and Shri Jayesh Patel (Ex-Principal, NK High School, Petlad) were also present.
The participants of the camp will be taking the initiative to organize various social outreach endeavours under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Utkarsh Shah, NSS Officer and Associate Professor, Community Medicine Department of Bhaikaka University.
During the seven days of camp, village mapping and surveys will be conducted. The medical camp will be organized. Students will advocate social issues through a street play. Prominent speakers from different segments provide knowledge for the community.
The officers from the government and semi-government departments will also provide knowledge for various government schemes.
