Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for New Girls Hostel & Imaging Centre at Charutar Arogya Mandal, Karamsad
Charutar Arogya Mandal, Karamsad, laid the foundation stone for two major upcoming facilities on 12th November, 2025. These include a new Girls’ Hostel for students of Bhaikaka University and dedicated Imaging Centre at Shree Krishna Hospital.
The foundation stone for the new Girls’ Hostel was laid by female students representing various institutions of Bhaikaka University.
The proposed Girls’ Hostel will be constructed on an area of 4,118 sq. metres, comprising ground plus four floors, to accommodate 200 girls. The facility will include air-conditioned rooms, a recreation room, reading room, parents’ waiting area, and a warden’s residence. The project, estimated to cost ?13–14 crore, has been made possible through the generous contribution of Shri Pushyantbhai Patel (UK).
The foundation stone for the Imaging Centre at Shree Krishna Hospital was laid by Dr. Jitesh Desai, Medical Superintendent of the hospital. The Imaging Centre will be constructed on 1,650 sq. metres, comprising ground and first floors, connected to the hospital premises. The facility, with an estimated cost of ?14 crore including building and equipment, is being developed with the generous contribution of Shri Arvindbhai Patel (USA).
The ceremony was graced by Shri Amit Patel, Secretary of Charutar Arogya Mandal and members of the Board; Dr. Gauri Trivedi, President of Bhaikaka University; Dr. Abhay Dharamsi, Provost; Dr. Jyoti Tiwari, Registrar; along with faculty members, staff, and students of Bhaikaka University, Invitees & Guests.
