ENT Department organizes - Live Surgical Workshop on Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery of Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad organized a “Live Surgical Workshop on Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy" on 16th July 2022 at Bhikhabhai Auditorium of H M Patel Academic Centre.
For this Dr. Siddharth Shah, Head and Neck Onco Surgeon, Minimal Invasive Thyroid Surgery Expert, Zydus Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad was invited as a faculty. He provided an introduction and live surgical demonstration about Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy. He also conducted minimal invasive surgery on a 54-year-old woman of Kapadvanj Taluka in the Kheda district. The patient had thyroid swelling on her neck. The surgery performed was scarless.
Nearly 55 ENT doctors from different parts of Gujarat attended this workshop.
