BU Honoured for Contribution to Healthcare Education and Nation-Building

“Rashtra Nirman Ma Sahbhagi – Gujarat” Recognition.
 
Bhaikaka University, Karamsad, has been honoured with the prestigious “Rashtra Nirman Ma Sahbhagi – Gujarat” recognition for its contribution to healthcare education and community service. The honour was conferred by the Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvrat Ji, at a ceremony held on Sunday, August 23, at Le Méridien Hotel, Ahmedabad.
 
Dr Gauri Trivedi, President, Bhaikaka University, was felicitated for the institution’s contribution to healthcare education and its sustained efforts to integrate education with social service.
Dr Jyoti Tiwari, Registrar, Bhaikaka University, received the award and certificate on behalf of Dr Gauri Trivedi and the university.
 
The recognition brought together 23 distinguished personalities who have made notable contributions across sectors including education, healthcare, industry, startups and community welfare. Bhaikaka University’s honour reflects its integrated approach to education, healthcare and community engagement, creating meaningful impact, particularly across the Charotar region.
 
Established in 2019 under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, Bhaikaka University has strengthened its presence in Gujarat’s healthcare education sector. Built on the legacy of Charutar Arogya Mandal, the university brings together education, healthcare, research and community engagement as key pillars of its institutional mission.
 
Through its constituent institutions and healthcare ecosystem, the university focuses on developing skilled healthcare professionals, advancing academic and research excellence, and extending healthcare and community-oriented initiatives to people across the region.
 
The event was organised by Gujarat First TV as part of its initiative to recognise individuals and institutions contributing to the development of Gujarat.
