BU Commemorates the 136th Birth Anniversary of Bhaikaka with a Dignified Ceremony

On June 7th, Bhaikaka University commemorated the 136th birth anniversary of Bhaikaka with a dignified ceremony held at the H M Patel Academic Center. Among the esteemed guests were members of the Patel family, including Shri Sarvadamanbhai Patel, Smt Chhyaben Patel, and Smt Smitaben Patel. The event was also graced by eminent figures from the university's leadership, comprising former Honorary Secretary Shri Jagrut Bhatt, incumbent Honorary Secretary Shri Amit Patel, Provost Dr. Utpala Kharod, Registrar Dr. Jyoti Tiwari, Dean of Pramukhswami Medical College Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Principals from various institutes within the University, and Medical Superintendent of Shree Krishna Hospital, Dr. Jitesh Desai, alongside dedicated staff members.

 

During the ceremony, Shri Bhatt eloquently expressed profound admiration for Bhaikaka's enduring legacy, emphasizing his pivotal role in propelling Vidyanagar onto the national stage through tireless dedication and vision. He also highlighted the unanimous decision to bestow the name "Bhaikaka University" upon the Charotar Arogya Mandal Educational Institute upon its attainment of private university status.

 

Shri Sarvadamanbhai conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the university management for extending the invitation, underscoring the significance of honoring Bhaikaka's memory on such auspicious occasion.
