BU Celebrates Saraswati Puja with Devotion and Traditional Fervour

Bhaikaka University celebrated Saraswati Puja with great devotion and traditional fervour on Friday, 23 January 2026, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami.

A special puja dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the revered deity of knowledge, wisdom, and learning, was organised at the University’s Knowledge Centre.

The idol of Maa Saraswati was established by the Shivani Bhatt Charitable Foundation. Mrs. Bindiya Hemant Bhatt, Treasurer participated in the rituals and offered prayers.

Dr. Bharat Gajjar, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and In-Charge of the Central Library, along with faculty members and students, took part in the worship with reverence and devotion. The occasion was graced by the staff, faculty and students of Bhaikaka University. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prasad to all attendees.
