Bhaikaka University signs MoU with Sadar Patel University
Bhaikaka University, Karamsad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar for the collaboration of academic, research, medical education, and social work.
On 18th July 2022, a small function was held in the Board Room. The Registrar of BU Dr. Harish Desai and Registrar of SPU Shri Bhaillal Patel signed the MOU in the presence of the Provost of BU Dr. Utpala Kharod and Provost of SPU Dr. Niranjan Mehta. On this occasion, Deans and principals of constituent institutions of BU and Heads of the concerned Departments remained present.
At the signing ceremony, Dr. Niranjan Patel stated that this partnership comes at an opportune time for the two universities to take significant strides in the field of education, research, and health education. He reminded the slogan of the Prime Minister of India 'Lab-to-Land' and 'Land-to-Lab ', saying that with this approach we should enhance the activities in research.
Dr. Utpala Kharod explained that Bhaikaka University is keen to share its knowledge with Sardar Patel University to play the role of a catalyst in their transformation and growth. The MoU will also encourage inter-university students and faculty visits to enable learning through academic interactions and programs. The two institutions will also be involved in joint research activities.
