Bhaikaka University organizes Charotar Nursing Sports League 2025–26
Waymade Institute of Nursing Sciences and Shri G.H. Patel School of Nursing, under the aegis of Bhaikaka University, successfully organized the Charotar Nursing Sports League 2025–26 from 13th to 16th October 2025 at the university campus. The event, hosted by the Student Nurses Association (SNA), brought together participants from nursing colleges across Gujarat, creating an atmosphere of teamwork, and healthy competition.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Abhay Dharmsi, Provost of Bhaikaka University; Dr. Jyoti Tiwari, Registrar; and Ms. Shany Thomas, Principal of Waymade Institute of Nursing Sciences and Shri G.H. Patel School of Nursing. The dignitaries motivated students to embrace physical fitness, sportsmanship, and unity through their active involvement in sports.
The four-day league saw 24 cricket teams and 75 badminton players competing with enthusiasm and skill. A series of matches and contests took place throughout the event, culminating in a valedictory ceremony that celebrated the champions of the boys’ and girls’ cricket tournaments, badminton winners, and other outstanding performers.
The Organizing Committee extended heartfelt thanks to the sponsors — Nursing Training Institute, Mr. Yograj Sinh and Kant Tailors — for their generous support and contributions, which played a vital role in the success of the league.
