Alumni Meet 2026: Reconnecting and Celebrating Nursing Excellence

The Alumni Association of the Institute of Nursing Sciences – Shri G. H. Patel School of Nursing (INS-GHPSN)  organised Alumni Meet 2026 on January 30, 2026. The event brought together alumni from the very first batch of 1980 to the most recent graduates, offering a meaningful platform to reconnect, reflect on shared journeys, and celebrate professional accomplishments. A total of 124 alumni from across Gujarat and overseas participated.

The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mrs. K. S. Masurkar, Former Principal of the Nursing College. The event was graced by Dr. Abhay Dharamsi, Provost of Bhaikaka University; Dr. Jyoti Tiwari, Registrar of Bhaikaka University; Mrs. Shany Thomas, Principal of the Institute of Nursing Sciences; and Mr. Shailesh Panchal, Vice Principal.

The dignitaries commended the alumni for their valuable contributions to the nursing profession and highlighted the importance of dedication, ethical practice, and service to society. Alumni were encouraged to remain actively involved with the institution through guest lectures, mentorship programmes, and professional collaborations.

Many alumni fondly shared their student experiences and reflected on how the institute’s emphasis on knowledge, discipline, and core values played a vital role in shaping their careers.
