A seminar on 'Prevention & Screening Camp on Thalassemia'

CAM Institute of Allied Health Science & Technology and Smt. L. P. Patel Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology, a constituent institution of Bhaikaka University has organized a seminar on 'Prevention & Screening Camp on Thalassemia' with the support of the Indian Red Cross Society, Ahmedabad.

 
The chief guest of the function Shri Upendra Bhoi, State Zonal coordinator of the Red Cross Society provided knowledge on thalassemia and Dr. Kirti Rathod, Head of A D Gorwala Blood Bank created awareness of symptoms and causes of thalassemia amongst the students. A new batch of 69 students was screened for Thalassemia at the end of the function.
