The 9th Healthy Heart Walkathon by Shree Krishna Hospital on 12th October 2025 witnessed participation from over 3000 health enthusiasts

The Healthy Heart Walkathon- a flagship event by the Shree Krishna Hospital commemorating the foundation day of its cardiac centre saw stellar success this year with participation from more than 3000 people from different walks of life. The event intends to promote walking as a preventive routine to prevent cardiac diseases. Over the years the Walkathon has become a popular and is largely admired for the purpose which affects the community at large.

On 12th October, 2025 the Walkathon 2025 was flagged off by the experts of the Bhanubhai and Madhuben Patel Cardiac Centre –  Dr. Sunil Karna – Adult Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Manish Tiwari – Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, and Dr. Kunal Soni – Cardiac Anesthesiologist in the presence of Charutar Arogya Mandal(CAM) and Bhaikaka University (BU).  The 3 kilometer stretch of walk saw the presence of Chairman of CAM Shri Atul Patel, Secretary of CAM Shri Amit Patel, Provost of BU – Dr. Abhay Dharamsi Registrar of BU0 Dr. Jyoti Tiwari, MS of Shree Krishna Hospital – Dr. Jitesh Desai, board members,  Dean and principals of various constituent institutions of BU, doctors, staff, board members, and patients as well.

The event, which was sponsored by AMUL, ELECON group of companies, Ciprianni Harrison Valves ltd., Ravi Kiran Ceramics Ltd, IDMC ltd and Vidya Wires Ltd., concluded at Townhall, Anand, covering a route of 3 kilometers. At the finishing point, the cardiac teams interacted with the participants, giving useful insights into the prevention of cardiac diseases. Gathering concluded with scrumptious, healthy snacks. 

The healthy heart walkathon is organised every year, the recent one being the 9th, to commemorate the foundation day of Bhanubhai and Madhuben Patel Cardiac Centre, which was established on 8th October 2008.
