Summer Yoga Camp for children at Bhaikaka University, Karamsad

Bhaikaka University, Karamsad has a repute for offering a comprehensive education to its students. Yoga has been an integral part of all our activities for a long time. This summer, from 20th to 29th May, an invigorating experience filled with laughter and discipline was witnessed at the Activity Centre of the University where Yoga training was offered to 70 children aged between 7 to 15 years.

 

As an extension of Yog Summer Camp – an initiative by Gujarat State Yog Board taking place at 200 centers. across the state. For Anand district, it was organized at the Savitaben & Hirubhai Patel Activity Centre under the guidance of Zonal Coordinator Dr. Jaynaben and District Coordinator Ms. Divyaben Dhaduk. The event was inaugurated by the Provost of Bhaikaka University, Dr. Utpala Kharod, and Registrar, Dr. Jyoti Tiwari. The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Sadhana Saraiya, Coordinator for the Yoga Course at Bhaikaka University, along with Ms. Bhavnaben and Ms. Tilottimaben.

 

The camp activities comprised of yoga training, besides offering the children an insight into nutritious food, Indian culture, and orientation of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta. The parents of the participants also encouraged the children and organizers.
